Dr. Anca Faur, 63, and Dr. Buzz Aldrin, 93, have officially tied the knot. The West Point graduate, and former astronaut, recently made the announcement on his Twitter to coincide with his 93rd birthday.

Dr. Anca Faur
In 1996, Dr. Anca Faur graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Catalysis. Notably, she has performed the duties of the Executive Vice President at Buzz Aldrin Ventures LLC since 2019.
Dr. Faur was previously a board member at the California Hydrogen Business Council. Furthermore, she participated in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics 70th International Astronautical Congress.

Buzz Aldrin is best known for being a Korean War Veteran, legendary astronaut, and being the second human to walk on the moon. He is also well known for his dedication to advancing exploration of the solar system. Specifically, Dr. Aldrin believes humanity can achieve travel to Mars in the near future.
During the Korean War, Aldrin flew 66 combat missions and was credited with shooting down two enemy MiG-15 aircraft. He also participated in the Apollo 11 moon landing on July 16, 1969, becoming the second person to set foot on the moon. He also once punched a moon landing conspiracy theorist who was harassing him. As of 2019, the man Buzz punched still believes the moon landing was fake.
