The controversial World Cup has kicked off in the small country of Qatar. However, the hosting nation was defeated 2-0 in the opening game. Reports claim that as Quatrain fans left the stadium, Ecuadorian fans chanted, “We want beer!”

This was in direct belligerence to the sudden banning of beer at the World Cup. Soccer, known as football to most of the world, is notoriously only made tolerable by copiously amount of alcohol. This announcement was made much to the chagrin to one of the event’s largest sponsor, Budweiser.
