Send care packages
The U.S. Klik Solutions office is in need of your non perishable foods and any other items to help feed refugee families while making sure their Ukrainian team members can also assist directly from their new location in Poland. So, this would be an excellent time to clean out your pantry, and send home goods and dry food.
The company made their first delivery of donated supplies on March 8th and is still accepting donations for a second delivery. To donate your items, you can mail care packages to the address below:

Donate cryptocurrency
If you own cryptocurrency, you know how helpful it can be. Binance has created a charity page for crypto investors who are willing to donate many different kinds of cryptocurrency. Binance itself has already donated 10 million dollars to major International Organizations and local NGO’s on the ground to help provide relief to refugees.
So far, the company has 903 donors and 1,650 end-beneficiaries. Binance is 100% transparent about the transferred funds, as you can scroll down on the page and see exactly what kind of cryptocurrency has been sent, how much has been sent, the date it was sent, and the crypto address of the humanitarian receivers it’s been sent to. You can also see the list of the 903 donor transactions who have also contributed cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Binance Coin, Ethereum, and Bitcoin Cash.

Pro Bono work
Historically, thousand of people apply for refugee status in Poland annually. Only a small portion of them actually receive protection. The Association for Legal Intervention offers free legal advice for refugees in the field of migration and asylum law, human rights, discrimination, or exploitation in the workplace. If you work in legal services, you can offer pro bono work with this organization to help refugees reestablish themselves in new countries, given Poland has limited space.

Support independent journalism
The Kyiv Independent is Ukraine’s English-language media outlet, created by journalists who were fired from the Kyiv Post for defending editorial independence. The Kyiv Post, Ukraine’s global voice, went silent on Nov. 8, 2021, days after celebrating the 26th year of its uninterrupted run.
As a result, former employees decided to continue the Kyiv Post’s legacy by launching a new publication – the Kyiv Independent. The publication will depend on fundraising from readers and donors and later on, commercial activities. The Kyiv Independent will always be at least partly owned by its journalists. Thus, subscribing will help restore financial sustainability to preserve its independence in the future.

Lease an empty room
A number of African and Indian students have faced discrimination and racism at the border of Poland. Fundacja Ocalenie has stepped in to provide support. This organization runs help centers for foreigners in Warsaw and Lomza.
It offers free Polish language classes while assists in looking for housing for refugees as well as children of refugees. This organization also holds workshops for anti-discrimination, and integration. It was founded in the year 2000 and still strives today to make sure all people have an opportunity to live in dignity. With the war in Ukraine, this organization is currently looking for rooms to rent for refugees. If you or a friend you know, happen to own any real estate (particularly in Warsaw, or the surrounding areas) there are organizations that would like to rent from you.
Foster
The Crittenton Foster Care Program helps thousands of children every year that range from infants to young adults. The program takes pride in working and welcoming every potential caregiver and family would like to help foster a refugee child. Moreover, they are a nationally accredited behavioral health and child welfare nonprofit. The program also has more than 50 years of experience working with vulnerable system-involved children.

Volunteer
The Hungarian Helsinki Committee is a non-governmental organization that protects human dignity, and the rule of law through legal intervention. This organization provides assistance to refugees, detainees, and victims of violence committed by law enforcement agencies.
Founded in 1989, the committee began providing professional legal assistance in 1994. Their areas of focus are protection of the rule of law, protections of refugee rights, monitoring law enforcement, and protection and rights of detainees. Consequently, many civilians will send them information, pictures and videos directly from points of conflict.

Offer your Airbnb to civilians
Airbnb is funding short term housing for up to 100,000 civilians feeing Ukraine. Airbnb owners are offering their homes to Ukrainian refugees for free. Others who do not own an Airbnb are paying for Airbnb’s for families to stay in Airbnb’s. Airbnb also works with nonprofit organizations that check and verify refugees for eligibility.
Additionally, partnering and donating with these programs are tax deductible under your local tax laws. So be sure to check to see if your state will allow you to write off your donation. If you know anyone looking to book an emergency please click here.
Write an article or submit photos
Kavyar’s response to the war on Ukraine includes withholding funds from Russia-based publishers. As well as, requiring Russian publishers to remove paid submissions until restrictions are lifted. Kavyar is a media hosting company that allows photographers, writers, photojournalists, artists, etc… to submit photography, written articles, and even conducts interviews for photojournalism publications.
Several magazines have also stepped up and are taking a pause from publishing traditional fashion/beauty themed issues to open themed issues in an effort to encourage photojournalists, writers, and even victims of Ukraine to submit their photos or provide a written statement of their story. If you or someone you know is a victim of the war, or you yourself are wanting to submit a fact checked article pertaining to the war in Ukraine.

Demonstrate or contact your officials
You can attend, or organize, a vigil or gathering to voice the need to support refugees. You can also contact your elected officials to voice your concerns. For example, you can contact your local Board of Education. Subsequently, this could lead to a food drive at your local library to send care packages to displaced civilians. You can also ask your senators what they are doing at the federal level.
