Pop Smoke Media began as a way to bring laughter to troops world wide in 2015. As our presence grew, so did our responsibility to use our voice to affect positive change. It is our mission to entertain, educate and advocate for the military and veteran community.
DANIEL SHARP
Daniel is a former Infantry Marine with 5 deployments in his 12 years on active duty. He also is the creator of Pop Smoke Media, as well as the host of the internationally ranked Smoke Pit Podcast. Daniel began writing in 2017, and has published several hundred articles for various news outlets. These experiences have spanned from on-location reporting in Russia, to helping draft legislation at the Capitol. The Florida native created Pop Smoke Media with the vision of entertaining, educating, and advocating for the military community. “We would risk our lives for each other in combat, so we must be willing to fight for each other back home.
ALEXANDER PFEFFER
AJ is a former infantry Marine and part of the Diplomatic Security High Threat program, with dozens of deployments between the two. The occasional co-host of the internationally ranked Smoke Pit Podcast, AJ splits his time between fighting for the generation that came before, and training the generation that will come after. The founder of Kitsune Instructional Technologies, he considers every day an opportunity to engage. “Never is the moment to far gone to put ourselves on the line for those whose freedoms we have bled for.”
