Back in 2004, Longworth Industries was awarded a US Army contract for moisture wicking polyester t-shirts. From that contract, XGO was born.

Since then, XGO has been producing high-performance base layers and apparel for tactical purposes for the finest that our nation and our nation’s allies have to offer. Catering to law enforcement, first responders, military, and government services, XGO “continues to proudly serve , with the most mission- ready gear on the market.”

“We make gear capable of withstanding any environment or mission that our brave men and women may endure.”

Since it’s inception, XGO has designed, developed, and produced, everything they sell from just outside of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. XGO  appreciates the command and control that the tight span of their footprint allows them to maintain over every aspect of their operation.

XGO’s first trademarked feature was Acclimate dry technology. Acclimate features wicking properties never before seen in a wearable fabric. This feature continues to serve as a part of all of XGO’s wicking gear. Since then, they’ve trademarked AG47, an antimicrobial, bacteria killing, odor controlling material and Clean Seam, a “patented blend of flame retardant fibers for industry leading [flame resistance] products.”
