Army Major and wife arrested for planning to give military medical records to Russia
An Army Major, and her wife, were arrested and charged for criminally planning to turn over medical records for military members and their dependents to Russian government officials.
Both doctors, Major Jamie Lee Henry and anesthesiologist wife, Anna Gabrielian, were both identified in an unsealed federal indictment in a Baltimore, Maryland District Court. Bother were charged with “conspiracy to disclose health information.”
Henry, who held a secret security clearance, was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as a staff internist. Gabrielian, who according to her page on the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where she works, speaks both English and Russian.

According to the indictment, the couple understood that they would be providing sensitive said Henry and Gabrielian believed they would be giving medical information related to patients at Fort Bragg and Johns Hopkins to a person working at the Russian embassy in Washington.
Their contact, in reality, was an undercover FBI agent who approached Gabrielian last month about an offer she allegedly made to assist the Russian embassy months ago. The agent met with Gabrlelian in a hotel room in Baltimore.

According to the indictment, Gabrlelian told the undercover agent that “she was motivated by patriotism toward Russia to provide any assistance she could to Russia, even if it meant being fired or going to jail.”
