The official report detailed that deputies responded to a call at approximately 4:30am.

When they arrived, the deputies found that a bystander had detained someone attempting to rob the store with a pistol. They also confirmed it was a Marine Corps Veteran who foiled the would-be robber.

In the surveillance video, you can see there was little to no hesitation from the unidentified hero.

“The Marine Corps taught me not to [mess] around,” the man said when asked why he acted.

Two other suspects fled the scene when their partner in crime was swiftly dealt with. Both are still at large. The perpetrator who initially wielded the gun was taken to a juvenile detention facility.
