Some minor injuries were reported, but no deaths. Furthermore, both sides were reported to have quickly “disengaged” and left the immediate area. June 2020 clash: 20 reported casualties
The Tawang valley is extremely remote, located at an altitude of over 11,000 feet. About two and half years ago, a deadlier clash was reported between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan valley, a different location on the long Himalayan border shared by the two nations.

This recent clash may have only recorded a few minor injuries suffered by both sides, but the Galwan clash from June 2020 recorded 20 Indian casualties with a larger number of injured soldiers from both India and China.
