Suspect wanted after repelling into bar
One suspect has been arrested in connection with a break-in at Main Street Bar and Grill in Canton, while authorities continue searching for a second suspect.

Authorities have arrested one of two suspects accused of breaking into a bar in McPherson County, according to the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office.
Main Street Bar and Grill in Canton reported that two individuals broke into the business through the ceiling at approximately 4:45 a.m. Thursday. The restaurant shared surveillance videos on social media showing both suspects wearing blue jeans and dark coats, with their faces covered. One of the individuals appears to have a tattoo on their lower back.

The McPherson County Sheriff’s Office said that, with assistance from the Salina Police Department, investigators were able to identify one of the suspects. Deputies were alerted to a potential address in Marquette, Kansas, and at about 11:00 p.m. on February 5, 2026, the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. Authorities have not released the suspect’s name.
As of Friday morning, the sheriff’s office said efforts are ongoing to identify and locate the second suspect involved in the break-in. Anyone with information related to the incident is urged to contact McPherson County Crime Stoppers at 620-241-1122.
