Curfew lifted after 21 people shot in Milwaukee

Over the weekend, violence devastated several areas of Milwaukee. Multiple shootings left 21 injured, including 17 in once incident. As a result, the largest city in Wisconsin implemented a strict 2-night curfew.

Officials stated those found breaking the curfew would be arrested and issued a $691 ticket. However, the curfew only applied to those 21 and younger.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, 5 of the injured were arrested in connection to the shootings. Police also arrested 6 other suspects, and intend to release more information in the next few days. The cause of the shootings is still under investigation.

All victims are expected to survive, but several events over the weekend were canceled. Including a Milwaukee Bucks watch party for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinal series.
