China dominates UAE SWAT Challenge placing 1st and 3rd

China Police Team "B" wins the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, securing the top spot on the overall leaderboard

Dubai, UAE - China Police Team "B" has emerged as the champion of the sixth edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, securing the top spot on the overall leaderboard with 480 points. The team's performance was recognized by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, during an awards ceremony.

The Sunkar team from Kazakhstan came in second with 470 points, while China Police Team "C" took third place with 457 points. On the final day of the competition, Rwanda's National Police Team "1" won the Obstacle Course Challenge with 77 points, closely followed by China Police Team "B" with 76 points, and China Police Team "C" with 75 points.

The awards ceremony was attended by Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs, as well as strategic partners, sponsors, and senior Dubai Police officers. Lieutenant General Al Marri also honored the judges of the Technical Committee for their role in officiating the competition.

Al Marri congratulated the winning teams for their exceptional performance over the five-day competition, highlighting the intense competition among all teams striving for the top positions. 

He praised the teams for their strong teamwork, preparedness, and ability to apply lessons learned from previous editions, which helped them gain valuable experience and enhance their performance.

Teams, from all around the world participated in this event. Some of these teams hailed from places such as Thailand, Rwanda, and Hungary. 

Editor's note: To clarify, the U.S.A. did not send a national team, although teams from the U.S. did compete like San Antonio P.D. who placed 28th, and the NYPD Emergency Service Unit, who placed 84th. (Feb 8th 12:59AMCST)
