Luna Leads Declassification Task Force

Staff Writer

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna will lead a task force to declassify federal secrets, including files on the JFK assassination and other high-profile cases.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FLa.) has been appointed to lead a new task force aimed at spearheading the declassification effort surrounding the assassinations of former President John F. Kennedy, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The task force will also investigate other government secrets, including the Jeffrey Epstein client list, unidentified flying objects (UFOs), the 9/11 terrorist attack files, and the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During a recent press conference, Luna expressed her belief that there were "two shooters" involved in John F. Kennedy's assassination, contradicting the single bullet theory. She stated that the initial hearing held in Congress was "faulty" and that she hopes to uncover more information regarding the assassination prior to the public release of secret files.

Luna's task force is authorized for six months and will work with President Donald Trump and his administration to "deliver truth to the American people" and restore trust in the government through transparency. The appointment of the task force follows Trump's executive order directing the federal government to declassify secret files related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) emphasized that Luna's task force will "build on the Trump administration's efforts to declassify records of national importance and ensure Americans get the answers they deserve." Comer noted that by withholding important information from the American people, the federal government has “sowed distrust in our institutions.”
