Combat currently sells beard oil, pomade, and a variety of apparel. Daniel Mora, the owner of the company, spoke to Pop Smoke Media about their future plans.

Mora said “We’re going to dominate the military grooming/hygiene industry. Colognes, shaving products, soaps… we’re going to do it all. Our biggest challenge right now is that we run this business part-time on the side in addition to our full time military careers.”

Mora and his wife, Kim, both work for the National Guard at the moment, on top of running their business.

Their service didn’t just incite the company’s founding either. Mora said that “All of our products are made specifically with the military and veteran community in mind. We don’t explain jargon or use layman’s terms.”

Beyond the use of military verbiage, the company also employs veterans.

Mora informed Pop Smoke that “My inspiration to continue growing is to be able to provide jobs for other veterans and military spouses. I have a couple vets that help me out part time.”

Adding to this, he commented that “They’re amazing.”

When asked about the uniqueness of the brand, More said that “We’re clearly a different brand…The quality is superb. Our hold will literally last for days! The scent will last all day as well.”

When the pair first started researching entryways into the hygiene business, they were attempting to craft a pomade for their baby’s hair. That never panned out, but they ended up with a solid product for adults in the meantime.

Combat Combover is solely looking towards what comes next.

Mora commented on where he would like the company’s growth to spread, saying, “I’m going to continue to grow the business so I can employ troops transitioning from active duty. I remember trying to integrate back into the civilian world after my deployment to Afghanistan and that was a real struggle. I think a work environment like ours is the perfect transition, or even a possible future career for some. The thought of that is pretty motivating!”
