Navy Corpsman 2nd Class Hainey earns Captain Dooling Award for exceptional service at 10th Marine Regiment, Camp Lejeune, recognizing his outstanding contributions as a mentor, instructor, and medical professional.

Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (HM2) Hainey has made an immediate impact at the 10th Marine Regiment, Camp Lejeune, since joining the unit. As a valuable asset, HM2 Hainey has been instrumental in teaching Combat Life Saver courses and mentoring junior Corpsmen on clinical functions.

 

According to Hospital Corpsman Chief Josh Rabbit, Navy Senior Enlisted Leader for the 10th Marine Regiment, "HM2 Hainey has hit the ground running, and his contributions have been invaluable." HM2 Hainey's dedication earned him the prestigious Captain Dooling Award.

 

Despite initial plans to re-enlist, HM2 Hainey is now considering transitioning to a civilian career in healthcare or IT. His journey exemplifies the unpredictable nature of military careers and the diverse ways service members contribute to their missions.
