Sgt. Thomas "Tommy" Lazzaro, a Green Beret, tragically died in a hunting accident on Sunday, his family confirmed. Known for his dedication to service and his kind-hearted nature, Lazzaro was remembered by loved ones as a fierce warrior, a relentless competitor, and a compassionate friend to all.  

Lazzaro's father highlighted his son's rare combination of strength and empathy, stating, "He was the most compassionate, loving friend to anybody and everybody."
