Today, recruiters have a tough undertaking. Selling a job that is stressful, and sometimes extremely dangerous, to a generation that rocks to the mantra of “just living their best life.”

Some have taken to social media to describe the various ways they’ve rejected a recruiter. Here is one of the most popular videos detailing the experience from TikToKer jinxthedestroyr

“id rather eat glass, actually”

That was pretty brutal. It gets even worsts when you check the comments.

Here are some of the top responses to the video about dealing with recruiters:

  • @07moon99:I told a recruiter for the marines that I’m allergic to crayons & he told me that I was mean 😂 Good
  • @sapphic.chef:I responded “I’m gay and extremely mentally ill, so no” and they replied “well only one of those is an issue now” 💀
  • @teton.system:my fav response I sent was “thanks but I already have ptsd. maybe next time tho”
  • @spookiermomsclub:dude i said “one time when i was 12 i ate like 50 ants” and they said “that’s an impressive amount of ants”
  • @coldinak18:I said “no thanks I already have ptsd” and homie responded with “damn understandable”
  • @lilirianag:”I’d rather roll around in fire ants than join the military again” always responded with “That sounds about right, thank you for your service.”
  • @razzhoneyofficial:They KILL their responses. Did the same thing and told them I was a stay at home mom in my 30s and he responded “Good, our boys need a mom”

The military is certainly not for everyone, and that is ok. However, this is objectively hilarious.
